Your support impacts hundreds of families each year!

As a non-profit organization, The Children’s Storefront has invested in Harlem for nearly six decades, first as a tuition-free K-8 school and now as a free early childhood program!

Our Play & Learn program allows caregivers and children to learn together as they practice skills to spur children’s brain development. Our early childhood-trained Program Coaches offer immediate feedback and support.

Donations of any amount ensure that our life-changing program can remain free of cost and accessible to all families!

The Children’s Storefront is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (EIN 13-2940671) that depends on the generosity of individual and institutional donors.

For Fiscal Year 2023 (July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023) we gratefully acknowledge the support of the following private institutions: Joan Ganz Cooney & Holly Peterson Fund at The New York Community Trust, The Andree’ Wildenstein Dormeuil and Roger Dormeuil Foundation, Margaret Mellon Hitchcock Foundation, Illumine Service Foundation, Marrus Family Foundation, Ruggles Family Foundation, Marilyn M.
